Super Mario Sunshine, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, and Batman: Arkham City are some of his favorites. In terms of action, Shane is also a huge James Bond fan and the ending of No Time to Die was the hardest he's ever cried in a theater. In addition, he's a huge Halloween fan and he'll never apologize for his love for Halloween Kills and Ends. Scream VI, Freaky, Sick, Terrifier 2 and X have become some of his recent fravorites. However, it has been slasher films that have become his true confort food. Black Christmas, Anna and the Apocalypse, Oculus and It Follows are some of his favorite films of all time. Now a decade later, he has become an expert in the genre. Paranormal Activity 4, It Follows, and Annabelle where the first batch of films he was brave enough to see in theaters. ![]() Watching films like Halloween, Scream, and Friday the 13th for the first time, he never looked back. Shane's High School years is when discovered his love for Horror. His favorite childhood films includes Scooby-Doo 2002, Batman Begins, and Spider-Man. He spent most of his childhood watching Scooby-Doo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Batman, and Justice League. From there, Shane became a huge fan of comics books and cartoons. That show means the world to him as it unlocked his creative side and made him comfortable in his own skin. His love for writing and film started at a very young age with his earliest memory being watching Blue Clues when he was 3 months old. He graduated from Regis College in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Communication and minored in both Film Studies and Writing. This is another stellar addition to Waxwork’s portfolio that only makes the hype for Rise that much harder. It’s just 20 floors of hell and Ellie’s dreadful shadow is looming over it. The back cover also shines showcasing the ill-fated elevator buttons filling up with blood. If that wasn’t creepy enough, a fly can be seen chilling out on her undead eye. The artwork for the vinyl is an extreme close-up of Ellie’s bloodshot, Deadite infested, eye. However, this time around instead of it being in the middle of the woods, the scene takes place in a claustrophobic apartment building which will terrify anyone who lives in an apartment building for the foreseeable future. In this new film Alyssa Sutherland's Ellie is taken over by the Deadites. The video depicts Rise’s updated possession sequence. Now, with a week out until the film’s debut, Waxwork Records have unveiled their horrifying new vinyl for Rise’s soundtrack.The announcement was made on Evil Dead’s various social media pages with an artful teaser that will send a gleeful chill down any Deadite lover’s spine. To cap off the month of killer releases, Evil Deadis being resurrected once more in Evil Dead Rise. April has been another great month for horror fans.
